Course Overview: The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program is globally recognized and scientifically proven to aid in managing stress, depression, and anxiety. You'll learn mindfulness principles and techniques through guided meditations, group dialogue, and personalized instructions, enabling you to establish a home practice and reap long-lasting benefits. Key Learning Points: - Various mindfulness meditation practices focusing on breath and body awareness. - Understanding stress physiology and regulating moods for effective response management. - Identifying patterns of worry and self-criticism to alleviate stress. - Cultivating self-acceptance and kindness. - Improving communication, connections, and relationships through mindfulness. - Developing practical self-care tools for resilience and optimal performance. Course Format: - Eight two-hour online sessions and an online day retreat. - Recommended 45 minutes of daily home practice. Course Materials: - Electronic workbook covering session theory and home practice details. - Access to The Mindfulness Project app and downloadable guided meditations. - Availability of course teacher and administrators for urgent queries. Additional Course Information: - Live Zoom sessions with group and one-to-one interaction. - Bookings close 48 hours before the course starts. - Participants must complete a personal history questionnaire during registration. - Full refund available if course deemed unsuitable after follow-up call. - Participants must attend the first session. - Zoom and internet connection test available upon request.
